CLASSIFIED INFORMATION
IN future all classified advertisements appearing in the Connaught Telegraph have to be pre-paid.We now have the most comprehensive classified section of all publications in the region. But in order to maintain the keenest rates for this service we must insist that payment accompanies all classified advertisement, except in the case where clients have an account with us. Otherwise the advertisements will be held over until payment is received.
SWINFORD MART REOPENS FRIDAY
Swinford Mart will reopen with a sale this Friday after the facility being purchased by NCF.The Co-op is in possession of the Mart on a caretaker's agreement pending completion of legal formalities. When this is done and title deeds ate handed over, which is expected to taker about two weeks, NCF will immediately pay the farmers who were owed money when the mart closed. They will receive 72«p in the £.
NCF will notify each farmer by post about payment arrangements and hope to have all farmers paid before the end of November.
ERRIS CITIZEN INFO CENTRE
Bishop Thomas Finnegan will perform the official opening of the Erris Citizen Information Centre at the Square, Belmullet on Thursday next November 21 at 7p.m.SWINFORD HORSE FAIR
