Seeking his roots
Sir, I am currently planning a visit county Mayo possibly in May of 1997 with My two sons.The purpose of my visit is to see where my father, Mr. Peter M. Lyons lived. As a boy, ( Laraganboy, my spelling may not be correct ) he and his father, John Lyons and all his brothers and sisters emigrated to Boston, Mass. on Jan. 1, 1928 .
I would also be curious if any relatives are still in the area.
Any information would be appreciated.

Get well message from Nebraska
Hi, my name is John Murphy, I live in Omaha, Nebraska USA. My great Aunt whom I keep in contact with but have never had the opportunity to meet because of the great distance between us, was hospitalized recently with a collapsed lung.She lives in Castlebar, County Mayo, and her name is Theresa Murphy. I would like so very much if you could place a get well wish from my family to her.
She is a very sweet woman, and I wish that it were possible for me to meet her, but since I am unable to afford to travel to Ireland, this is the next best way to wish her God's blessings and a rapid recovery.
