BREAFFY Community Council race night takes place on Friday next, April 12, commencing at 9 p.m. in Breaffy House Hotel. The entertainment starts with live music, followed by ten races.
There has been a huge response to the sale of horses and sponsorship has been secured for each race. The members of the Community Council have expressed their thanks to all who are supporting the promotion.Come along to Breaffy House Hotel on Friday night, meet you friends and neighbours and enjoy the craic. Sure Cheltenham is only trotting after Breaffy's race night!
CARD WINNERS
Winner of the first prize in the weekly card game in Breaffy was Michael Halligan. Second, third and fourth prizes were divided between Pakie Cunnane, Nancy Carney, Eamonn Kelly, Harry Jennings, Tom Tuohy and Martin Walsh. Best last nine were Bridget Kelly and Joe Murphy. Raffle winners: Felix Sweeney, Michael Halligan and Tom Heneghan. Spot prizes were won by Pakie Cunnane, Maisie Murphy, Nonie Gibbons, Noel Lavelle, Jimmy Barrett and Michael Halligan.Another card game will be held in Breaffy Community Centre at 9 o'clock on Thursday night.
