A VERY well attended meeting of the Waldron Clan Association was held in the Central Hotel, Ballyhaunis, at which Mr. Paul Waldron, hon. secretary, read correspondence he had received from the Clans of Ireland giving details of the changes of the structure of that body.

The meeting agreed to reregister with this body and the name 'The Waldron Clan Association' was agreed on, as was the Irish form, de Bhaldraithe. It was also agreed to send a delegate to the annual general meeting of the Clans of Ireland.

The association wish it to be known that anybody with an interest in the name Waldron, no matter how many generations back, whether their name is Waldron or not, are very welcome to attend meetings.

The association wishes to encourage ladies to join and they would like to remind Waldron ladies with different married surnames that they will be especially welcome.

An annual subscription of £5 was fixed. For this members will receive the association newsletter in which they will be kept fully informed of the activities of the Waldron Clan Association.
