BRIDGE WINNERS
Winners of the bridge competition held in Kiltimagh at Easter were: 1st, Jim O'Shea and Danny Doherty; 2nd, Carmel O'Shea and Sadie Mulhern; 3rd, Teresa McGrath and Mary Colohan; 4th, Maureen Finn and Eileen Grogan.CARD WINNERS
At the weekly 25 drive in the Community Centre first prize was won by Hugh Forde and Jimmy Ruane. Second and third prizes were shared by the following: John Mellett and Tom Gavin; Martin Molloy and Michael Smyth; Una Conway and Martin Kilgallon. The last 10 prize was shared by Joe Corry and Mary Kavanagh and Joe Murtagh and Pat McDonagh. The winners of the accumulator prizes were Jimmy Langan, Kathleen McGrath, Joe Murtagh and Kieran McDonnell.FIANNA FAILMATTERS
There was a good attendance at the annual general meeting of Kiltimagh Fianna Fail cumann held in Teach O'Hora. Special guests were P. J. Morley, T.D., Tom Moffatt, T.D., and Councillors Pat McHugh and Jimmy Maloney. On behalf of the cumann, Paddy McNicholas extended sympathy to the Charlton family on the recent death of Paddy who was dedicated member of the cumann.At his family's request, a contribution will be made to the kidney dialysis unit. Votes of sympathy were also passed to the following: McGreevy family, Creaby family, Bourke family, Sheridan and Higgins families.
The following officers were elected for the coming year: President, Jack Higgins; Chairman, Paddy McNicholas; vice-chairman, Michael D. Freeley; secretary, Martin McNicholas; assistant secretary, Shannon O'Hara; treasurer, Don Dillon; assistant treasurer, Norman Hyland; PRO, Marty O'Hara; youth officer, Adrian Langan; Dail Ceantar delegates: Paddy Gordon, James Hyland and Aiden O'Hora.
