JOE BERNIE PLAYS WITH SAW DOCS
Castlebar man Joe Bernie is one of the featured musicians on the Saw Doctors latest album £Same Oul' TownÓ. Joe, a native of St Bridget's Crescent, plays saxophone on one of the tracks £Back to Tuam£. Resident in Galway for several years, Joe, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Bernie. He has been deeply involved in the music c=scene in the West of Ireland since his early youth.KNOCK-ON TO JERSEY
JERSEY is proving a hit with West of Ireland holidaymakers. So keen is the demand for air tickets for the destination that LSA Travel has increased the number of seats by 70% out of Knock Airport. RADIO history will be made on St. PatrickÕs Day when Mid-West and North-West Radio will broadcast on shortwave to a worldwide audience.
