President Robinson to open Telegraph Offices
PRESIDENT Mary Robinson will officially open the new £500,000 offices of the Connaught Telegraph on Holy Thursday April 4.
Our new headquarters at Cavendish Lane, Castlebar was specially designed to cater for the needs of the technological advances that have taken place in the industry over the past decade.
To mark the occasion we will be publishing a major historical supplement chronicling 168 years of the sporting, political and business life of Mayo. The Connaught Telegraph is the oldest provincial newspaper in continuous circulation in the country.
From our extensive records we will be reprinting all the top stories and photographs of over a century-and-a-half. Many advertisements have been booked for this unique commemorative supplement.
There is still some space available and as the publication will be a keep-sake in every household it will be a source of value to any advertiser. To book your space you can contact our advertising department on
