Urlaur back in pole position

Urlaur United moved back to the top of the Welcome Inn Hotel Premiership on Monday with a deserved victory over Claremorris.

But they suffered an early scare when Pat Higgins struck an early goal for Claremorris. Chris Jordan equalised for Urlaur ten minutes later before Fergal McAndrew put the home side ahead before half-time with his first league goal since joining the club.

Tim Moriarty put Urlaur in a commanding position with a third goal early in the second half.

But they were put under severe pressure in the closing stages after Claremorris registered their second goal.
