LEBANON SUPPORT FOR MAYO

Seven Mayo Army personnel serving with the UNIFIL forcers in the Lebanon will tune into an All-Ireland radio transmission of the final on Sunday.
The special satellite link will bring them a kick-by-kick account of the Mayo - Meath clash at Croke Park.
Lt. Kevin McDonald from Castlebar organised a photo-call of the Mayo troops in Brachite village, which according to Kevin was a major task as the personnel were located at different posts and the ongoing Israeli shelling bombardment of the South Lebanon.
Kevin said: "We are all eagerly awaiting the match. There will be a great
celebration here if Mayo pull it off.
"On behalf of all the troops here I would wish John Maughan and the Mayo
team the best of luck on Sunday."
