Three tragic Mayo deaths

THREE people have died in tragic circumstances in Mayo over the past week.Swinford parish was plunged into mourning following the death of 17-year old student Mark Graham from Cloonaghboy.
A Leaving Certificate student at Scoil Mhuire agus Padraig, Mark died at Mayo General Hospital following a fall from a tractor a short distance from his home on Sunday. Gardai are investigating the incident.
An accomplished Irish dancer, his death has come as a great shock to his family and many school friends.
He is survived by his father Pat, mother Mary, and sister, Joanne, Cloonaghboy, Swinford.
An eighty-six year Ballindine lady died at the weekend in a house fire. She was Ms. Winnie Glynn of Shantalla, Ballindine.
A popular member of the community, Ms. Glynn had been in good health and her untimely death has shocked all in the area.
She is survived by her nephew, Mr. Joe Brogan, who lived with her in recent years and cared for her diligently, and her niece, Mrs Mary Gormley, Granlahan, who was a frequent visitor to her home.
The community of Ballinrobe is also in mourning following the death of 29-year old P.J. Feerick of Springvale, Ballinrobe, who drowned in the Robe River.
Well known in farming circles, P.J. was a very popular member of the local community.
He is survived by his parents, John and Margarie; brother, John Michael;
and sisters, Veronica and Kathleen.
