New shop sign for Joyces
Mr. Joe Joyce, Castlebar Street, Westport has received planning permission for a new shop sign at Joyces Supermarket.
Clew Bay Hotel developments
Planning permission for the retention of an existing shop front at James Street, Westport has been granted to Mr and Mrs Madden of the Clew Bay Hotel.
Bridge Street proposal refused planning
Westport Urban Council has refused planning permission for the construction of an apartment and maisonette at Bridge street.
Thomas Brawn, Bridge Street had applied to demolish an existing shed and to construct one maisonette and one apartment at the location.
Shop Street planning application granted
Michael McLoughlin Ltd., Shop Street, Westport has received planning permission to alter an existing shop front at the location.
New planning plans under council consideration
Eleven new applications appear in this month's planning list at Westport Urban Council.
Among them are proposals for a 60 bedroom hotel at Mill Street and a craft shop on Lord Altamont's Westport House Country Estate. The full list under consideration is given below:
