MAYO ROSCOMMON HOSPICE
The Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation is a charitable voluntary organisation with covenanting status which provides a domiciliary based palliative care service in the Counties of Mayo and Roscommon in Ireland.
It deals with all types of terminal illness in all age groups. Most of it's patients would suffer from cancer, but it also cares for patients terminally ill with AIDS, motor neurone disease, and childhood diseases.
It is now, after a very short time, one of the busiest and most successful hospice organisations in Ireland. It is organised in Palliative Care Teams under a Medical Director, who is a specialist in Palliative Care.
