Cosy cottage situated in a secluded scenic location on the Atlantic Drive via Currane to Mulranny. The cottage is approximately 2 miles from Achill Sound Village which has a good selection of shops and restaurants.

Local Amenities
The area is ideal for walking, cycling & fishing. There is a golf course on Achill Island at Keel and another at Mulranny where there is also horse-riding. There are many historical sites to be explored on Achill Island itself.
There is a wealth of beautiful sandy beaches including the very picturesque Keem Bay - not to be missed.
A trip to Minaun Heights is another highlight from where, on a clear day, you can see all over Clew Bay, with its many islands. A day trip to Westport and Croagh Patrick is another worthwhile option.
Great Western Greenway
The latest attraction for the Achill area is the new Great Western Greenway for walkers and cycling enthusiasts. The Greenway, which runs from Achill Sound to Westport, via Mulranny and Newport, has been designated a European Destination of Excellence. It is now a major tourist attraction with spectacular scenery on the entire route. Bicycles can be hired from various venues along the way, if needed.
