This
photo taken round 1918/20 is of Ballindine National School - senior
boys. Names in Issue 9 of Ballindine Post (Summer '94).
This
photo was taken in 1946 in Irishtown at the centenary celebration of
the birth of Michael Davitt, founder of the Land League. Names in
Issue 11 of Ballindine Post (Easter '95).
I know it is a little mean not giving you the names but after all we
are trying to sell the Ballindine Post!) There are two more photos
further down - don't forget to click on the small picture if you want
to see it enlarged.
Don't
know when this photo was taken and don't know the name of the second
person from the left either but you can get the names of the other
three in Issue 15 of Ballindine Post (Summer '96).
So
when was this photo taken 50's, early 60's? They are all from
Irishtown and their names are also in Issue 15 of the Ballindine Post
(Summer '96).
