AIB Agri-Tourism national award winner 1995

Teach Philbin is a pre-famine style cottage with lots of character - olde, traditional, warm and cosy. It is approved by the Irish Tourist Board and given the highest standard awarded 'Grade 4'. We are very proud of this and we did a lot of restoration work ourselves and thankfully our hard work was merited in 1995/1996 by obtaining the National Award for Self-Catering.

Our cottage may be pre-famine but at the same time is well furnished with all the modern standards required and has oil fired / electric heating.

Self-catering (rental) accommodation in an Irish cottage in County Mayo in the West of Ireland (Ballinrobe/Ballintubber).
