Community Radio Castlebar CRC fm
Community Radio Castlebar- CRC fm - is a local community radio
station which was founded and is managed by representatives of
community groups, local business and public bodies. The staion is
staffed almost entirely by volunteers. 114 individuals and groups are
involved in producing and presenting programmes. We are 'on air' for
seven hours a day, seven days a week.
Programmes range from current affairs (local issues and local
personalities) to heritage, Irish language and music, women's
affairs, education, sport, parish topics etc.
Soon we hope to give you more information about ourselves, our history, our schedules and radio presenters.
Our signal covers approximately a 12 mile radius from Castlebar so if you have relatives or friends in that area why not e-mail a request for them.
