Language fluency is the key to international business success. You can avail of our wide range of Language Training Programmes, delivered by experts, at our location in Castlebar in scenic County Mayo in the West of Ireland.

The courses are designed to give practical results, and tutors are highly qualified, experienced, dedicated and focussed.

Courses are of one week or two weeks duration, with class time of thirty hours per week, and with emphasis on competence in the target language by the end of the course.

Tuition is given thorough the communicative approach, supplemented by sound and video material, and giving the participant practice in oral fluency. We encourage small groups where everyone has the best chance.

Who are we?

Parlez Pronto is a specialist language training school which offers tuition to business people on an intensive, short term basis. Parlez Pronto is under the direction of Jennifer Healy and Jean-Pierre Guiblain. It is a small year-round English language school for adults, founded by qualified teachers with overseas experience.

Jennifer, who is head of English teaching, has wide experience. She taught for four years in a Paris language school, where she also held the post of Director of Studies.

Where are we?

Parlez Pronto Language Training is located in Castlebar, County Mayo. Mayo is the 3rd largest county in Ireland and Castlebar is the county town with a population of seven and a half thousand. It is the administrative seat for the county and location for a number of large industries and a Regional Technical College.

A friendly and welcoming town, it is only 11 miles (17 Km) from the Atlantic coast and is set in the midst of beautiful scenery. Rugged mountains reaching into Connemara, sparkling rivers and lakes, and a rich historic and cultural heritage make it an ideal touring centre.

Castlebar has much to offer in terms of activities. The town has two golf courses; angling and water sports are readily available with salmon, trout and coarse fishing in abundance, and it is a recognised walking centre.

Castlebar is officially linked with the Breton town of Auray, and was the centre of a rebellion in 1798 when French forces sought to overcome the British.

How do you get here?

Castlebar is readily accessible by road and rail from Dublin (240 Km)

Many participants now avail of direct flights into Knock International Airport (30 Km from Castlebar) which is served daily from London Stansted, Birmingham and Manchester with onward links to all European destinations.

Accommodation

Course participants are normally placed in high quality guesthouse accommodation where those on the English course have an excellent opportunity to practise their developing language skills.

Alternatively, Grade A hotel accommodation can be arranged on request.
