Kay's paintings are spontaneous colour studies of various subjects. She specialises in multi-layered oils and is inspired by everything around her, flowers, people, landscape and style. She has had two solo shows in the last three years, one in Claremorris and the other in Galway. |
Art Exhibition
Hosted by the Claremorris Arts Committee, this annual event has been transformed from a traditional gallery-based show into a multimedia formatted site-based exhibition. This outstandingly successful format has aroused much interest from around the country and also from abroad. The sites are selected from specific locations around the town and artists submit their work aimed at a specific site.

Poetry
A commemorative volume of the poems and songs of the late Michael Hensey (formerly of Tullamore) who lived on the outskirts of Claremorris until his untimely death in 2005. This book fulfils Michael's ambition to be published and celebrates his fine literary achievement.
