Annual St Patrick's Day Parade 2008
The St Patrick's Day Parade committee welcome visitors to the town of Claremorris for the annual parade. This has become an action-packed, fun day for all the family, young and old. Anybody who enjoyed previous parades is in for the same standard of entertainment and enjoyment as in recent years, with numerous floats, visiting bands, music in many premises in town throughout the afternoon ... and much more! Entries for the parade will be accepted up to and on the day.

Cleary / Coyne Traditional Music Weekend
The Claremorris Branch of Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann are holding a Traditional Music Festival on the weekend of 17th, 18th, 19th of October 2008. The Festival is in honour of the late Johnny Cleary and Mattie Coyne. The inaugural festival weekend in 2006 was a great success and looks set to become an annual event.

Drama Festival - March
Each March Claremorris hosts ten plays presented by various Drama Groups from all over Ireland.
Claremorris Welcome Home Summer Festival
This fun-filled festival features many attractions to cater for all different age groups and tastes. An ideal re-union opportunity for Claremorris emigrants and residents alike.
Claremorris Agricultural Show - August Bank Holiday
A wonderful blend of the traditional elements of a time-honoured agricultural show and new attractions appealing to the younger generation, the Claremorris Agricultural Show goes from strength to strength each year. The finest horses, cattle and sheep from the area compete for the prizes in the animal classes and the Show features many Qualifier competitions where the winner goes on to represent Claremorris in National events.

Claremorris Open Art Exhibition - September
Hosted by the Claremorris Arts Committee, this annual event has been transformed from a traditional gallery-based show into a multimedia formatted site-based exhibition. This outstandingly successful format has aroused much interest from around the country and also from abroad. The sites are selected from specific locations around the town and artists submit their work aimed at a specific site.
The wide variety of sites include
- Shop windows
- Gable walls
- Various outdoor sites
- Footbridge over the railway track
- Several sites at Clare Lake
This type of exhibition attracts artists of many different fields and serves a dual purpose of giving local Claremorris people a chance to appreciate and show their fondness for the arts while promoting the talents and the works of Irish artists.
