Lovely bungalow, recently refurbished to take full advantage of its exceptional views of the Atlantic Ocean and the larger islands which form the entrance to Clew Bay.
Amenities
The area itself is very rural with houses and farms scattered across the landscape. There is a bar and church within walking distance, and Louisburgh, approximately 4 miles away, has a selection of shops, bars and restaurants. The countryside is ideal for walkers, anglers, climbers or cyclists, whilst the nearby beaches offer opportunities for digging sandcastles, surfing, canoeing or just aimless wandering. Local beaches include Cross Strand and Carrownisky, both famous for their surf, Killadoon beach is within walking distance (aprox 1 mile) whilst the spectacular Silver Strand is a short drive away.
Attractions
The daily ferry service from nearby Roonagh Point to Clare Island provides a favourite outing for visitors, but there are also many other places of interest within easy reach, such as Delphi Adventure Centre, Westport House, Achill Island, and Kylemore Abbey. Croagh Patrick, Ireland's holy mountain, can also be seen from the house, but it is the panoramic sea views which most impress our visitors.

- The spacious L shaped living/dining/kitchen area is simply and tastefully furnished and decorated, in complementary shares of blue and cream, using natural materials to create a wonderfully relaxing room. Wood laminate flooring throughout with cream wool rugs, the luxurious dark blue Italian leather three piece suite is positioned to enjoy the panoramic views of the coastline from the floor to ceiling window. Three large radiators provide plenty of heat, but the local stone fireplace, with stylish cast iron dog grate and stone mantel, gives a comforting blaze on a cold or wet day
- The dining area has a good sized table and six chairs, with views of Clare Island through the patio doors. Pictures and lighting complete the scene, and colour TV, DVD player, stereo CD/radio/cassette player, books, games and jigsaws provide diversion if needed
- A breakfast bar separates the fitted kitchen area which has dishwasher, electric cooker with ceramic hob & double oven, extractor fan, fridge & freezer. Good range of cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery, glasses etc
- Hallway with airing cupboard leads to 3 bedrooms
- 2 twin bedded plus master bedroom with double bed and ensuite shower & toilet
- House bathroom with separate electric shower
- Automatic washing machine

- Outside there is a large grassed area and ample parking. Barbecue & garden table & chairs
