Situated between the famed fishing lakes Mask and Carra, the village of Partry is a popular holiday destination for fishermen. The beautiful backdrop of the Partry mountains is pleasant scenery for walkers, cyclists and hill-walkers enjoying a vacation in this friendly rural village.
On the N84 Castlebar/Ballinrobe road, Partry is an ideal base to explore many corners of Mayo and Galway. The historic Ballintubber Abbey is a only a few minutes drive and Mayo's pilgrimage mountain 'Croagh Patrick' is also within easy reach.
If you fancy a day shopping or window-shopping, the nearby towns of Castlebar, Westport and Ballinrobe are all very convenient.
