Situated 5.5km (3.5 miles) from Westport, "Brookside Cottage" is a turn of the century traditional farmhouse, with a unique blend of character, space and comfort. It has been tastefully restored and furnished to combine old world charm with all modern conveniences.
It lies in a rural peaceful setting and visitors can enjoy many walks from the doorstep. Brookside enjoys spectacular views of Croagh Patrick and unspoiled countryside and is an ideal base for touring Ireland's rugged and historic West. The West lives up to it's image of a wild and traditional country with lonely hills, bogs, loughs and stone walls, good pubs and above all, friendly people.
