Clare Island
This beautiful island - 8km x 5km in area, population 150 - is 4 miles off-shore and only 20 mins by boat from the mainland. There are Ferry services to and from the island all year round with a continuous Ferry service during the Summer season (May to Sept).
A haven of peace and tranquility, Clare Island is well served with a grocery shop, licenced hotel, taxi service and bicycle hire to help you explore this enchanting terrain.
