Congratulations to the town of Swinford which will host the 2013 Mayo Fleadh Cheoil, from May 10th to May 12th.
The annual Fleadh Cheoil in Mayo is a wonderful opportunity to see and hear the talented music, song and dance of the young people of the county, as well as being a great place to meet old friends and acquaintances.

NB The official timetable for the 2013 Fleadh Cheoil is not available yet, but below is the programme of events for the 2012 Fleadh, which was held in Newport, County Mayo.
Friday 11th May
- 8pm: Official Opening in The Gráinne Uaile
- 9pm: Fleadh Concert in Parish Hall. Tribute to the late John McFadden (Carrowmore)
- Sessions in Pubs
Saturday 12th May
- 10am: U-12 and 12-15 Competitions commence
- Sessions on Street during the day
- 5pm: Grupaí Cheoil in Hotel Newport U-12 and 12-15
- 10pm: Céilí in Parish Hall
- Sessions in local pubs
Sunday 13th May
- 10am: Aifreann as Gaeilge, St Patrick's Church
- 11am: 15-18 & Senior Music Competitions in Newport NS
- 11am: Set Dancing Competitions in Community Hall
- Music & dancing at Gig Rig during the day
- 3pm: Marching Bands Competition
- 5pm: Céilí Bands Competition in Hotel Newport
