JUNE 2019

On Wednesday 5th June there will be a beach clean up at Golden and Silver Strand, Dugout, on Achill Island.

The event will run from 12.oo o’clock to 4 pm. A free shuttle will pick the participants up at Mulranny Hotel at 11:30am stopping at the Achill Outdoor Education and Training centre at 11:45am.

On Friday 7th June there will be the Corncrake talk and walk led by Liam Loftus, Corncrake Officer. The free event will take place at Binghamstown area from 9 pm to 10 pm from O’Raghallaighs pub. Refreshments provided by Belmullet tidy towns, small charge applied.

JULY 2019

For the months of July and August daily guided walks of Tóchar Daithí Bán Nature Trail will take place from 1.30 to 2.30 every Wednesday and Friday. The Tóchar Daithí Bán Nature Trail is a 2km looped trail.

Wild Child Clubs take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout July and August. It caters for children aged 6-12 and runs from 1.30pm to 3.00pm.

On 1st July the Mayo Art Squad will make a number of willow sculptures which will be on display around the visitor centre for the next few months.

Also, there will be two workshops provide by the Mayo Art Squad in July:

The workshops cater for for all ages except very young children.
