The 6th Foxford Walking Festival will take place on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th June 2017 over the June Bank Holiday and it is one of the most popular events on the walking calendar.

Three walks have been selected for all walkers around Foxford and are scheduled on both days. There are three levels: Hard, Moderate and Easy, suitable for families. The walks will pass picturesque mountain loughs, stunning coasts and impressive countryside.

This year walks will include:

Saturday

Walk 1: Ox Mountains, hard

Walk 2: Tavnaghmore, moderate

Walk 3: Rinanny Loop (Family Friendly and Free), easy

Sunday

Walk 1: Nephin Mountain, hard

Walk 2: Larganmore, moderate

Walk 3: Drummin Wood (Family Friendly and Free), easy

Refreshments including tea, coffee, cakes, soup and rolls will be available for walk participants. Good equipment is required.
