The third Frosty Salmon Festival will take place in Ballina from Sunday 6th December to Thursday 24th December and will offer a variety of merry family events.

On Sunday 6th December the Jackie Clarke Collection will be turned into a magical winter wonderland with a Santa’s workshop, arts and crafts, festive games and much more. There will be a very busy Mrs Claus waiting for the arrival of Santa’s fanfare at 4.30 pm. Here he will meet all the children. Later Santa will head the parade through town towards the brand new Santa’s Grotto at the Military Quarter in the Market Square.

The Jackie Clarke Collection is also hosting a Christmas letter to Santa competition. The children will have to drop their letters into the Jackie Clarke’s special post-box by Friday the 4th of December at 4pm including their name and a parent’s contact details. The three winners will get a special present and a wonderful sleigh ride with Santa.

A European Style Mistletoe Market will take place in the Military Quarter from the 12th - 13th & the 19th - 20th of December where the decorated stalls will showcase all their best local traditional crafts and artisan foods. It will be a feast for the senses!
