The 2019 traditional New Year’s Day Swim will take place on Achill Island on Tuesday 1st January.

All participants will gather at Dugort Silver Strand at 1pm and jump into the crystal Atlantic waters embracing the New Year.

The people of Achill will be on hand offering hot soup, live music & craic in the Strand Hotel.

The collection on the day will go for charity at Achill RNLI Lifeboat.
