Summer at Ballycroy National Park
July-August 2018
For Summer 2018 the Ballycroy National Park Visitor Centre will organise special Guided Walks and the Plover Clubs for Kids.
The ‘Tóchar Daithí Bán’ nature trail will take place every Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 2.30 pm starting from Monday 9th of July.
Participants will explore the bog, discover more about the flora and fauna along the 2km trail and take in stunning view towards Nephin Beg Mountain Range.
The walks last 1 hour and suit all ages and abilities, no special footwear is required.
Plover Clubs will run every Tuesday and Thursday in July and August from 2 pm to 3.30 pm catering for 6-12-year-old children.
The kids' clubs will cover topics such as animal adaptations, wildflower workshops, myths surrounding biodiversity and seashore ecology.
