The Haunted Hat Festival will take place from Saturday 28th October to Tuesday 30th October in Crossmolina.

The Nightmare on Church Street – Part II is the main feature of the 2018 event and will take place from Sunday 28th to Tuesday 30th October.

Evil inmates of the Church Street Slammer will take control of the jail and participants will try to escape from the cells they will be trapped in through the creepy corridors and manage to keep up with the group they belong to.

The event doesn’t cater for children under 12 years or people suffering from certain medical conditions such as epilepsy.

On Saturday 27th and Sunday @8th October, there will be “Boo!…” at North Mayo Heritage Centre at 6 pm. The event caters for children up to 10 years old. Children will enjoy the Trick or Treat houses and the Ghost Train.

Also, on Saturday there will be the 5k Run/Walk in aid of the Gortnor Abbey OsKars.

The Festival will finish on Monday 29th October with the Children’s Halloween Party in Crossmolina Town Hall from 2 pm to 4 pm.
