Ireland’s first International Dark Sky Park and Ballycroy National Park will host a new event as part of Heritage Week 2016: “Unlock the Night”. It will take place on Saturday 20th August from 9.00pm to 11.00pm at the Ballycroy Visitor Centre.

Visitors will be able to listen to bats, watch moths, seek out nocturnal wildlife and learn more about the effects of light pollution on humans and wildlife.

This event is free and no booking is required.
