Westport Arts Festival will take place from Wednesday 28th September to Sunday 2nd October in different venues in Westport town and surroundings.

Each autumn since 1975, the Festival offers a rich plethora of events to choose from: music of all kind, dance, theatre, art shows, literature, film, comedy and children’s and family activities.

This year famous musicians such as The Undertones, Matt Molloy with John Carty and Arty McGlynn, The UnThanks and Neil Brand will perform at the Festival.

Visitors will enjoy brilliant comedies including Fried Eggs, Bubble Revolution, In Good Hands and the Deidra O’Kane Show

Enthusiasts for Literature will be able to meet Edna O’Brien, Mike McCormack, Kevin Barry and the poet Geraldine Mitchell.

Lego Building Competitions, Seon Nós Dance Workshop, Niamh Sharkey Illustration Workshop and Storytelling, Sing Street Film and Performance will cater for children and their families.

But there will be plenty more on offer…
