Penitential Service will be held in Bonniconlon at 7.30pm on Friday 27th March. Outside priests in attendance

Everyone is invited to the Fr.Peyton Centre, Attymass next Thursday evening, March 26th at 8pm for a Prayer Service where we will reflect on the Stations of the Cross, in preparation for Good Friday

GAA Skills Camp

Skills Camp will take place in the club pitch from Monday 30th March to Thursday 2nd April (Easter Break), from 10.00am-12.30pm, €35 per child.

World War 1 Commemoration Plaque

A meeting will take place on Monday 23rd March in The Grove Hall at 8pm to elect a committee in relation to erecting a plaque in the graveyard commemorating the people that died during World War 1.

Public Farmers meeting

A meeting hosted by the Irish Natura &Hill Farmers Association (INHFA) will be held on Monday 23rd March in the Ox Mountain Heritage Centre (beside Joe Dans) at 8pm.

Topics include the new GLAS Scheme, but more importantly on how the Department of Agriculture are presently reviewing mountains, commonages and marginal land with a view to making large areas of land ineligible for Single Farm Payment.

Come along, inform yourself & protect your single farm payments.

Ballina Cycling Club

Ballina Cycling Club are hosting a Ladies Cycle on April 19th at 10am with registration at 9am from Hotel Ballina.

The cycle will help raise funds for Service Dogs Europe and ‘The Super Cooper Fund’.

There are two routes to choose from and all abilities are catered for. In preparation for the cycle there will be a spin on Saturday March 28th at 10.30am from Hotel Ballina.

All are welcome.

Bingo on Monday 23rd Mrch 2015 at 8.30pm in Knockmore Community Hall. €2,600 in prize money paid out on the night.
