Walking Group GOA Claremorris beginning 1 July for six Wednesday evening sessions @ 7.30pm in Clare Lake/McMahon Park with Mayo Sports Partnership facilitator Deirdra Donnelly, In association with Get Ireland Walking the Active Community Walking Programme supporting the creation of vibrant walking communities throughout Mayo.

Irish Cancer Society

The Irish Cancer Society’s Care to Drive service is currently seeking volunteer drivers to drive local patients to and from their chemotherapy treatments in Mayo General Hospital.

We are looking for volunteers from all over Co. Mayo to pick patients up at their homes, drive them to the door of the hospital, pick them up again when they are finished their treatment and bring them home.

The service is free to the patient and all drivers expenses are paid.
