Achonry National School Charity Event

The Annual Fun Cycle, Walk, Run, Drive, Get there every which way led by Fr.Peter Gallagher, from Lavagh to Bonniconlon for BBQ and cycle back to Lavagh on Sunday 10th August. Starting from Mullinabreena Church Carpark at 1pm. There will be a BBQ on Arrival in Bonniconlon for all involved.

Entry €20 per individual & €25 per family.

All people traveling please register at Mullinabreena Church between 12 noon and 1pm as we need to know numbers for BBQ.

Golden Jubilee of Priesthood – 31st May 1964 – 31st May 2014

Fr.Patrick J. Mangan’s Golden Jubilee of Ordination to Priesthood will be celebrated with a Mass of Thanksgiving in Bonniconlon Church on next Sunday 17th August at 3pm.

Everyone is invited to the mass.

A history of the club is being published.

Any old photographs would be much appreciated but in particular photos of Parish League teams, Carra Cup teams and teams from the early years of the Glacken Cup.

Seisun in Fr.Peyton Centre Attymass every Thursday night at 9pm until the last Thursday in August.

Litter Action League - July - Marks 97

Bonniconlon was inspected on a dry fine day in the afternoon. From Ballina speed limit sign to church was litter free. Main Street (Church to Gala Shop) was also litter free. From Gala to speed limit on Enniscrone Road was litter free.

The stretch from Gala to speed limit sign on Tubbercurry Road was litter free.

The Bottle Banks were clear of all rubbish, as was the slip road beside the Tubbercurry Road.

From Junction to GAA area on Attymass Road was practically clear of rubbish, however, 2 cigarette boxes and 1 plastic wrapper was noted under a bush.

The Community Centre area was also litter free.

Congratulations on another excellent result for Bonniconlon. Next Match against Ballintubber

Bonniconlon Show

The Bonniconlon Show Committee thank the Local CE Workers, RSS Workers, Land Owners, Volunteers, Foróige, I.C.A, Marshals from Ballina Motorclub, G.A.A, GardaI and all the other organisations that helped out, making Show Day a hugh success.
