First Holy Communion Parents & Children

The Programme called “Do this in Memory” encourages parents, families, Parish with teachers to become more actively involved in the Sacramental journey as the children prepare for First Holy Communion.

The Programme highlights the importance of the Sunday Mass. It also acknowledges the Home as the most important and significant place, where the faith of our children is nurtured, nourished and sustained.

A Special Mass will take place every month. I invite all the children of the schools, their parents and families with the First Holy Communion class, to our Special Masses.

The 1st special mass, called the Enrolment Mass takes place this Sunday, Mission Sunday.

Ballycroy/London Reunion

Ballycroy/London Reunion – will take place Sat 22nd November in London.

Dates for your Diary – First Holy Communion will take place Sunday 10th May . Christmas Card Game for the Church – 14th Nov in the Hall. Ash Wednesday – 18th Feb. Palm Sunday – 29th March. Easter Sunday – 5th April.

November Masses for the Dead

November Masses for the Dead – November Lists for the Dead are available at all Church Doors.

Please take one and return before the 1st November. The lists of the dead will be placed in a Sacred Space in front of the altar. The Dead will be remembered and prayed for every day. Twenty Masses will be offered for the repose of their souls.

Please return your lists before or on the 1st November.

Newman Institute –

There will be talks on Bereavement, Mental Health Issues & Personal Healing, on Monday evenings for the month of November. Mass of Remembrance - will be celebrated on Sun 16th Nov at 3pm in St Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina.
