On 28th October 1927, nine fishermen from Lacken lost their lives in a sudden storm.
The annual Mass in memory of the drowned will be commemorated at Lacken Pier on Sunday 26th October at 3.30pm (bank holiday weekend).
All are welcome to come and take time to remember and honour those lost – ‘gone but never forgotten’.
Sympathy is extended to the family, relatives and friends of John Morgan, SuÃfinn Way who died recently.
