Raft Building Championship and Family Fun Day

Two great family fun days will take place on Clare Island over the next Bank Holiday Weekend

On Saturday, August 2nd, on Clare Island there will be a special family fun day full packed with outdoor activities: kayaking, snorkelling and a beach challenge. All the activities will take place on the island's lovely Blue Flag Beach. Registration from age of 8 years old.

Raft Building Championship will take place on Sunday, August 3rd on Clare Island, the gem island of Clew Bay. All people tempted are invited to join a team; each team will have to build its own raft which has to float on sea water for a course distance of 300 m. Heats will take place on Sunday morning, the Final will be in the afternoon. This event promises a great fun day out from the beginning to the end.
