Ballycroy National Park celebrates the Biodiversity Week 2015.

The Ballycroy Visitors Centre, located in Ballycroy village, will organise a special event free of charge, which caters for all ages and abilities.

The celebration of the Biodiversity Week 2015 will take place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May, with aim of giving young people, parents, group leaders, students and teachers a better understanding of the wealth of biodiversity on their doorstep.

On Saturday 23rd May 2015 there will be the KIDS DAY (an adult must stay with child/children for the duration of the  activities):

10.00 – 11.00            Garden Bird Safari

12.00 – 13.00            Pond Dipping

14.30 – 15.30            Butterfly/Flower Walk

On Sunday there will be events that cater for ALL AGES:

12.00 — 13.00            Pond Dipping

14.30 — 15.30            Guided Walk
