The Claremorris Open Exhibition’16, the thirty-ninth COE, will take place in Claremorris from 17th September to 1st October.

Over the years Claremorris, a small town in the heart of Mayo located between the old art world of continental Europe and the new of America, has produced a high quality exhibition of contemporary art and this is the uniqueness of the Claremorris Open Exhibition.

This year, Helen O’Donoghue, Senior Curator,Engagement and Learning at Irish Museum of Modern Art, will be the Curator for the exhibition called 'New Century Retro - A Selection of COE Prizewinners’. She has the unenviable task of selecting this year’s exhibiting artists 

There will be artists from all over Ireland, the Uk and further afield, selected with works on painting, print, photography, sculpture, installation, video, light, sound, performance and multi media.
