Culture Night 2016 will take place on Friday 16th September 2016 and hundreds of free events will be organised across Ireland and Mayo alike.

The free events cater for all ages; planned activities include family workshops, films, tours, demonstrations, exhibitions, performances, outdoor poetry events, craft displays, music seisiúns and much, much more.

The event provides cultural organisations with an occasion to showcase to local communities and visitors, the wealth and variety of cultural activity that exists in Mayo, while also celebrating the county’s excellent cultural reputation on a national platform.

Regardless of where visitors are in the county there will be a Culture Night event taking place nearby with events planned in the main towns and villages in Mayo.
