Teen Mag

I wish It would Rain

 It reminds me of rain
Sometimes it just drifts down softly
Like it's never gonna stop

Sometimes it is hot and misty
But then it is gone
Torn away by a gentle wind

Sometimes you sit still and suddenly
Without warning it come crashing
It hails until you run for cover

With us I saw it coming
I watched it creep in slowly
Like a fog surrounding me

 The wind picked up
And the thunder struck
The sky lit with lightning

 There was an eerie calm
A great period of uncertainty
And a longing for something permanent

Then once more the storm erupted
Only for a moment or two
Then the rain stooped as suddenly as it began

 It began so suddenly
And I was afraid of the storm
But now I miss our rain
