FiveSixteen

 One more day,
I have of you.
One last day
of soft white light.
One more glorious
brilliant day of
envy sweet and slight.
I cherish every second
With words to pale, sickly,
to say.
I know no words deserve you.
Starlight ends this wasted day.
Time rolls by in mockery
of feelings unannounced.
What a day, What a day.
I'm almost certain
it's better this way.
