Busy Falling

I jumped off the moon and began to fall
I yearned for home, I couldn't call
I was falling fast and it was fun
Next time I looked I was my son
But still the essence was myself
Falling to earth, I had no help
Falling still
Through space
Look down!
I've got to slow up and look around!
There is no air, not yet, not now
And still I'm falling, can't take a bow
What will happen, what will I learn?
Will I slow down, will my toes burn?
I need to aim for that big blue sea
I'm busy falling, don't bother me
