Ballina Fringe Festival is a brand new festival coming to Ballina. It will run from Friday 6th to Sunday 15th July 2018 alongside Ballina’s famous Salmon Festival.

Ballina and North Mayo have a proud heritage in the arts, often inspired by their landscape and history.

The aim of the event is to celebrate this heritage through the high-quality arts content.

The festival will delivery to audiences an invigorating and inspiring arts programme showcasing the attractiveness of the region and provide them with memorable experiences.

The programme will include:

• Crossing the Firebreak: Exhibition by Donald Teskey, 7-27 July 2018, from Monday to Friday, 10am-5pm at Ballina Civic Offices

• An Evening with Gallery Press Poets, 10 July 2018, 7:00 pm at Ballina Arts Centre
   
• Paddy Cullivan’s 10 Dark Secrets of 1798, 11 July 2018, 8:00 pm at Ballina Arts Centre
   
• Paddy Casey Live, 12 July 2018, 9:00 pm  at St Michael’s Church
   
• Heartland: Patrick McCabe, 13 July 2018, 9:00 pm at Ballina Arts Centre
