The Black Pig Festival takes place from Thursday 23rd July to Monday 27th June in Enniscrone, Co. Sligo.

This popular and family friendly event caters for all ages, young and old.

On Thursday night Michael English and his Dance Band kick start the festival at 9.30pm.

On Friday there will be the funny Tail Curling Piggy Racers Grand Prix and a Kiddies Treasure Hunt.

Saturday is full packed with the Market Day, music and street entertainment, the Shark and Pig BBQ and fireworks at night.

On Sunday there will be The Seaweed Festival featuring vendors stalls, demo and talk about seaweeds, outdoor activities for children and the amusing Duck Race.

On Monday a 5km and 10km fun run/walk will close the festival.
