The COE '15 will take place in Claremorris from 19th September to 3rd October.

Over the years Claremorris, a small town in the heart of Mayo located between the old art world of continental Europe and the new of America, has produced a high quality exhibition of contemporary art and this is the uniqueness of the Claremorris Open Exhibition.

This year Brian Cass will be the Curator for the event.

Brian Cass is the Curator for Creative Arts, Trinity College, Dublin. He managed the Turner Prize and the Changing States as a part of Culture Ireland’s programme for Ireland’s presidency of the EU in 2013 and held curatorial and project management roles with the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin. He wrote for and edited many exhibition catalogues and artist books. He also directed and produced programmes for RTE and was Gallery Manager of The Model in Sligo.

There will be artists from all over Ireland, the Uk and further afield, selected with works on painting, print, photography, sculpture, installation, video, light, sound, performance and multi media.
