Once again the beautiful town of Westport will host the Westport Folk and Bluegrass Festival from 10th June to 12th June in the newly rebuilt Town Hall Theatre and the amazing Holy Trinity Church, as well as in other charming venues.

2016 will mark the festival's 10th anniversary and will offer the most impressive program to date.

All the bluegrass and folk lovers will find good music in bars and streets all over this week-end.

The three-day Festival attracts local, national and international artists and audiences. The atmosphere of this event is very important: warm and open, here all people feel included and have fun.

This year many bands from UK, Holland, Australia, America, Northern Ireland and Ireland will perform in the multi-venue festival including one of the United States' top old-time bands: The Foghorn String Band, The Kentucky Cow Tippers from UK and The Cannonball String Band from Holland.

Many workshops and informal sessions will be organised and people of the public are welcome to join in and play with the artists and groups.
