Family Fun Day out at Clogher Heritage Cottage

At Clogher Heritage Cottage on Saturday 23rd August a special event will take place.

From 11am to 2pm the Clogher Heritage Group will organise a family fun day out which caters for visitors to the locality and for locals.

On the Clogher Bog Loop Walk there will be a turf-cutting demo, it will be possible see how the traditional slane was used and how the turf was brought home by donkey and carted.

At Clogher Heritage Cottage there will be a display of vintage machinery and a local blacksmith will work at the Forge.

Local historian and tour guide Brian Hoban will lead an interesting walk on the Clogher Bog Loop.
