Belmullet is hosting its annual Gala Festival from Wednesday 8th August to Saturday 18th August 2018.

This fantastic event caters for all the family and includes the traditional Fair Day, the favourite Heritage Day, the family fun day, water sports and much more.

The best of the festival is the Heritage Day held on Friday 10th August.

On the stalls, there will be tempting seafood, Irish coffee and delicious fare. Handmade goods, gifts and souvenirs will be on sale and buskers, dancers and musicians will perform on the streets.

There will also be the Exhibitions of old photos, the Treasure Hunts and children workshops.

On Friday 17th August there will be the funny Pig Racing.

After last year success, the Raft Race will be back on Monday 13th August at 8.30 pm at the Quay.
